Moving a Flat Screen Television to Dallas
By Julie DeLong, A-1 Freeman Moving Group
Preparation
Before making any moves toward packing up the television, snap a few quick photos of the various cords and cables to ensure you have a visible benchmark while you are connecting everything back up when you arrive at your new residence. Next, carefully remove all wires and cables. Coil them up and secure them with a twist tie or rubber band and pack them into a carton. As well, be sure to label the box. If the television has got a base or wall bracket, remove that as well. These items can be packed into the same TV accessory box as the cabling. Be sure and place all screws straight into baggies and yet again, label them. There's no need to have to assume which screws go to which things once you are reassembling everything at the destination, and considering the mayhem that commonly ensues close to moving day, don't count entirely on your memory when it comes to ensuring all the things gets put together again as it had been before. And, while you're on it, place any remotes in this carton, too.
Packaging
With any kind of luck, you had moving day in mind when you got your flat panel Television, and thus, you stored the original TV box and inserts. Having said that, if you are like most people, you did not want a massive useless carton cluttering your car port or attic, so you discarded it (preferably via recycling). If the later is the situation, you can buy a container and corner covers from your moving supply shop or from your local moving company. Make certain to buy a container that is adequate to fit around the Television with a little extra room for extra padding. Cover the television meticulously in a few moving blankets, put the corner guards on and slide it into the carton.
Moving
The safest strategy to move your flat screen Television is to ensure that it stays vertical. So that you can ensure that it remains to be in the correct position in the moving truck, secure it alongside a mattress or something that is substantial, for instance a chest of drawers or bookshelf. Make certain and keep the carton of cabling and accessories close by for quicker unpacking.
Once you arrive to your new residence, invert the strategy and before long, your flat screen TV will be available to broadcast the newest animated movie or big game.
And, if perhaps all this seems too mind boggling to undertake by yourself, give A-1 Freeman Moving Group or maybe your nearby moving company in Dallas a call. They would be happy to help ensure that your flat screen TV comes to your destination unharmed.
